Jane serves as Pastor of the Heshbon Park United Methodist Church in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

In ministry, she enjoys

building relationships through worship, prayer, congregational care, and small group experiences;
journeying with persons on their discipleship path as they grow into disciples that make disciples; and
seeing the IMPACT of the local church in the community and the world.

Her hobbies include knitting, embroidery, crafts, and reading. In her time apart, Jane enjoys time with her husband: Drew and their 3 cats.

Jane thoroughly enjoys her work in Grief Education and Spiritual Direction.

She received a Grief Educator Certificate from David Kessler Training in Los Angeles, CA and a Spiritual Direction Certificate from the Center for Spiritual Formation in Carlisle, PA.

What is a Grief Educator?

A Certified Grief Educator is committed to providing the highest level of grief support through education, experience, and insights into the often unacknowledged rocky terrain of grief. Certified Grief Educators completed a certificate program designed by world-renowned grief expert, David Kessler. They bring his unique methodology, tools, and decades of experience to help people navigate the challenges of grief.

What is Spiritual Direction?

Spiritual Direction is companionship given by one Christian to another as they discern the presence and work of God in their lives, respond to the invitation and guidance of the Holy Spirit, and live out the beauty of that relationship. Spiritual companioning is not about fixing problems, and a spiritual director is not a therapist. The spiritual direction relationship is focused on working with the Spirit to discover and engage in what God is doing in your personal spiritual journey.
